Rete Ferroviaria Italiana has awarded WEGH Group, in partnership with ICEP s.p.a, a contract for the production of approximately 920 series of prestressed concrete turnout bearers that will be used in replacement works and the installation of switches throughout the network. The series of sleepers are naturally different, depending on the tangent of the turnout and therefore on its overall length, according to the standards established by RFI.
