Voith and Siemens Mobility signed a 30-year service contract for railway couplers in the fall of 2020. Within the framework of the contract, Voith will carry out a major overhaul of more than 3,800 couplers of the Velaro RUS and Desiro RUS fleet by 2050. The first overhauled couplers already left the Voith plant in Kazan at the end of 2020. Voith has delivered couplers to Ural Locomotives, a joint venture of Siemens and the Sinara Group, and to Siemens Mobility in Krefeld, Germany since 2012. A
