Bids are due on 1 June for tunnelling works on Section D of the direct rail link to the planned terminus at Binyanei-Hauma in Jerusalem. The contract calls for a 2.9km tunnel to a station some 80 metres below street level. Tenders were invited by Israel Railways on 9 March.
