ITALIAN HS TUNNEL PROCEEDS DESPITE DEMOS

Undaunted by recent protests which turned violent, the Italian government is pushing ahead with its latest high-speed line that from Turin to the French border. Residents are complaining that the drilling of tunnels high above the Gulf of Genoa will disrupt their lives and clog roads. Police clashed
