China has proposed a Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar (BCIM) multi-mode corridor, a route about 2,800km in length. "We are in favour of it";, Yunnan provincial government vice-secretary Li Ji Ming is quoted saying. "The high-speed corridor would help the economies of Myanmar and Bangladesh as well." H
