At the end of October, India's Eastern Railway placed the country's first air-conditioned double-deck trainset in service between Kolkata's Howrah station and Dhanbad. Manufactured by RCF Kapurthala, the prototype stainless steel set has two power cars and eight trailers carrying 128 passengers each
